Common questions
Melo didn't generate music for my entry
Generation usually takes about a minute. If it's stuck, check your internet connection and try again. If it still doesn't work, email us with the date of the entry.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On iPhone: Settings → your name (top) → Subscriptions → Melo → Cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store subscriptions are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue them directly.
How do I delete my account?
Email hello@melo-journal.nl from the address on the account and we'll remove your account and all entries within 30 days.
Voice entry isn't working
Make sure Melo has microphone and speech-recognition permissions: iPhone Settings → Melo → toggle both on. If it still doesn't work, restart the app.
I lost access to my entries
Sign in with the same Apple ID, Google account, or email you originally used. If you used a magic link, the email you receive the code at is your account address. Email us if you're stuck.
